Original blue and white paper wrappers. A miniature graph paper notepad with "Thank You" printed on front cover. Notepad is unused. Inside of front cover has unfilled lines for contact information and inside of back cover has printed miniature calendars for July-December 1938 and January-June 1939. No date, circa 1938-1939. 2" x 2 3/4." About twelve leaves of graph paper are included. Notepad is virtually pristine and intact except for age toning. A Fine copy. Hotel Pere Marquette is an upscale hotel located in Peoria, Illinois. It is currently the only surviving upscale hotel from the 1920s in Peoria. Its architecture is modeled after many East Coast designs from the 1920s. The hotel was completed in 1926 and had its grand opening in January 1927. The hotel underwent several renovations in 1954, 1961, 1972, 1981, and 2011. Hotel Pere Marquette was named Peoria Hilton when it became part of Hilton Hotels beginning in 1972. Hotel Pere Marquette later reverted back to its original name after leaving Hilton. 2011 marked Hotel Pere Marquette's partnership with Marriott and its resulting renovations. Hotel Pere Marquette then reopened in June 2013 and has since been known as Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette.. Ephemera. Book Condition: Collectible-Fine.
