Afrikaans text. The book has been slightly damaged by damp. The boards are a touch warped and the corners knocked inwards. They are edge worn, but remain strong, clean and square. The dust jacket is rubbed, marked and edge worn, but remains whole and square, with little indication of damp damage apart from some slight warping and marking to the corners. There is an ex-libris bookplate on the front end page. The pages within are very faintly marked along the edges. They are slightly warped and creased near the corners, but this is not immediately noticeable, and the pages are crisp and complete.
