The author "Lilly", writes beautiful, sensitive vignettes about the people of this community, vignettes which describe their spirit much like Isaac Bashevis Singer and his world of long ago. It is more amazing since English is not the author' s native language and one finishes this book with a great desire to read her works in her native tongue. I wish every booklover would read these tales., Very Good with no dust jacket
