Henry Heide, known as the Candy Man, inventor of the Jujube, Red Hot Dollars and Jujyfruits candies, in 1869 he founded the Henry Heide Candy Company. A German by birth he immigrated to New York City, New York in 1866. His son Andrew and then grandson Philip Heide continued the company. Philip Heide sold the Henry Heide Inc to Hershey Foods Corporation in 1995 and was then aquired by Farley's and Sathers Candy Co in 2002. This rare cookbook, from 1911 has some of some of the finest confection rececipes you'll ever find. Illustrations are in both b/w and color. 64 pages.
