Crack to first hinge (with first free endpaper and page of frontispiece detached and laid in), rear hinge starting. Several edges of pages chipped (at borders), not affecting text. Text block is lightly age toned, pages are clear and very readable. Illustrations are clear, vivid. Overall, no stickers or bookplates, no writing or underlines in text, and Very Good condition. In this edition, several articles have been rewritten, and others expanded. There are new articles. Also a number of illustrations have been added.
