The exhibition was held between September 1 and October 31, 1994 at the San Francisco Public Library and from December 20, 1994-February 17, 1995 at Scripps College. Paragraph on the title page: "Welcome to the 22nd Annual Members' Exhibition of the Hand Bookbinders of California. It is very exciting to see so many new exhibitors in this year's show alongside some welcome and familiar names. We are particularly happy to see the new names since this is the first time the HBC Members' Exhibit will be traveling outside the Bay Area. After concluding its stay at the San Francisco Public Library on October 31, the exhibit will be installed at the Humanities Museum of Scripps College in Claremont, California from December 20, 1994 through February 17, 1995.
