although this book is not signed by any of the authors, it is signed and warmly inscribed by P.I. Hoogenhout. Hoogenhout was the administrator of South West Africa (as it was then known) from 1943 to 1951. he died in 1970. there are no other inscriptions and the binding is excellent. there is some foxing and the original green boards are a little worn . there is a small repaired tear at the top of the spine..
