First edition (first printing) of the author's second major collection. 8vo. 70pp. Brown pebbled boards lettered in gold at the spine. Contemporary (1970) former owner name and date neatly inked to the front free endpaper, and a tiny dealer plate to the front pastedown (obscured by the wrapper flap). A strip of browning to the title page, presumably offset from a slip of paper one being stored there. Very good indeed in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, a little faded at the spine panel and with a touch of further fading to the margins of the front and rear panels, several tiny slivers of loss from the spine ends, and a single tiny area of enclosed wear. Eighteen poems including a revised version of In Memory of Jane Fraser ("I dislike the poem very much and the publication of this amended version may be regarded as a necessary penitential exercise" - note), plus a short essay.
