the book is signed on the half title page by Sushila Manilal Gandhi. Sushila was M.K. Gandhi's daughter in law. the previous owner (Dr Felix Machanik) has his bookplate under the front cover. he has also written a small inscription describing his visit to Gandhi's house in Durban South Africa on the 12th July 1976. he mentions that he had tea with Sushila and no doubt this is when he bought this book and she signed it.the wraps are slightly worn and the spine is sunned. there are a couple of under-linings in ink in the text, but not many.the binding is strong. a couple of small tears. reprint.
