Each portfolio contains 25 loose plates, as issued (except for no. V., which is missing two plates). Red cloth spines, paper covered boards printed in black with table of contents on front covers. Photo reproductions of excellent large format (35 x 25 cm) images of urban architecture, from throughout the cities of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czechoslovakia. Spines split, boards rubbed/soiled. Plates in good to very good condition; paper is brittle, and some of the plates have shallow chips to the edges, not affecting images (except for one plate with a larger chip to top corner of image). One portfolios is missing the front board, and therefore we have no way of knowing which number it is, or what should be included.
