Fore- and bottom edges untrimmed. A little light toning to the pastedowns and to the front free endpaper; the rear free endpaper all but absent. A very good copy in marked, rubbed, toned and chipped dust wrapper, with some internal reinforcement. This copy from the library of Siegfried Sassoon's great friend Dennis Silk, with his bookplate to the front pastedown, and with two letters to Silk from a third party laid-in.
