London: Chapman and Hall, 1839.

EXTRA ILLUSTRATED First Edition, FIRST ISSUE of the text, with 'visiter' for 'sister' (sic) line 17, page 123, and 'latter' for 'letter' 6 lines up, page160; Illustrated with a frontispiece of the author and 39 plates, plus an additional set of 36 plates by Thomas Onwhyn, several of which were drawn using the pseudonym 'Peter Palette'.
