Brown), having all the ads called for by Hatton & Cleaver, except for the scarce Grace Agular's Works" ad in part XVI. Spines expertly renewed on parts I, II, VI, X, XI, XIV, XVI AND XIX/XX. Slight darkening to front wrap of part I and spines of a few others. Owner's stamp on front wrap of part IX; subscriber's name on margin of front wrap of part XII; one inch loss at foot of spine of parts XVII and XVIII; small loss at spine ends of a few other parts. Plates of parts VIII, XVI & XVII have light browning at edges; plates of parts XIII and XVII have light off-setting from the dark plate. All others are very good to fine. All together, a superior set, lacking just one ad. House in a custom green quarter leather slipcase, with chemise.
