Original campaign publication printed in black ink on beige paper. The publication promotes the John F. Kennedy-Lyndon B. Johnson ticket. Black-and-white portrait photograph of John F. Kennedy printed at center of front cover with the title. Back cover shows a printed black-and-white photo of Kennedy and Johnson with the following text: "Vote Democratic: Kennedy for President; Johnson for Vice President." Pages laid in loose like a newspaper. 10 3/4" x 14 1/2." Unpaginated, eight pages, complete. Black-and-white illustrations, complete. Publication is very clean and intact except for the occasional faint mark, age toning throughout, and a few light wrinkles and creases. A Very Good, almost Near Fine copy. Original publication that promotes John F. Kennedy's run for United States President and Lyndon B. Johnson's run for United States Vice President. The publication reads like a newspaper and consists of a series of brief articles. Most of the publication is about Kennedy and describes his background, family, political platform, and accomplishments. Kennedy's military service during World War II is highlighted as well as his principles, political expertise, and experience in working with leaders from different countries. One of the printed photos accompanying a biographical article is a family portrait of Kennedy, Jacqueline, and their two-year-old daughter, Caroline. The following are some of the promotional points of his platform (printed on center spread): "Fights Racketeering," "Organizes Government," "Fights for the Rights of the Working Man," "Rights for a Fair Share for Our Farm Families," "Fights for the Protection of Older Citizens," "For All Human Rights," and "For Religious Freedom." The inside of the back cover features Lyndon B. Johnson and promotes his bid for vice president. Johnson's accolades are also featured, and he is described as "a national leader" and "proud family man" and having a "proud war record.". Ephemera. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good.
