Davis, R. A : Fruit-Growing in South Africa

Central News Agency, Limited, South Africa, 1928

532 pages (complete). A sure book in general poor condition due to storage. The green cover is marked, scuffed and worn. The spine is rubbed and worn. The spine seams have small wounds but the security of the binding is sure and healthy. Inside, the initial pages have damp staining the the bottom edges. The frontispage has a previous owner signature (Redvers J. Blatt - a well know expert on fruit growing; he had graduated from the University of California in 1923 and was soon after estate manager at the Zebediela Estate that, unusually for the time, employed white Afrikaans women as packers). The pages are clear if spotted with foxing throughout. They are firm to the binding and confident and assured. fk. Book Condition: Poor. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: No Jacket
