Publicity photo (5 x 7 inch). Head shot of the actor in the early thirties with printed signature. Lane Chandler (1899-1972) grew up on a ranch in Montana and moved to Hollywood in the 1920s where he got bit parts in westerns for Paramount Studios. In silent films he had leading roles opposite Clara Bow, Greta Garbo, Esther Ralson, among others. With the advent of talkies he was relegated to supporting roles in westerns and appeared in 50 TV episodes, the likes of Gunsmoke, Rawhide, and Wagon Train. He quit acting after 1966.. Book.
