Letter is otherwise very clean and intact. George Henry Calvert (1803-1889) was an American poet, essayist, editor, dramatist, and biographer. He was the Chair of Moral Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Baltimore and served as the 2nd Mayor of Newport, Rhode Island in 1854.
