Original bulletin on one leaf of light blue paper, folded in half. Text printed in black ink. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2." Four pages (printed on four panels), complete. Bulletin is very clean and intact except for two horizontal fold lines; slight edge wear; moderate age toning along the edges; a small, light smudge on back; and a couple of tiny closed tears at the bottom edges not affecting text. May have residual library marks in pencil. A Very Good copy. The issue for August 1917. This bulletin gives a concise summary of events relating to California's economics, infrastructure, agriculture, and the like. Most of the topics have a line or two of text. The following is a sampling of topics addressed in this issue: "fair and seasonable" weather in August; projected outlook for bean crop; California rice crop; dried peaches; good prune crop; more agricultural news; notice of a new hotel in Grass Valley; a list of bank clearing and building permits by number for San Francisco, LA, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, Fresno, Stockton, San Jose, and Pasadena; freight shipments from Stockton; community reports by county; and upcoming events..
