this appears to be the expanded edition published in about 1850? it is undated.there are 144 plates, almost all of them complete with tissue guards. 2 volumes in one. the original quarter leather boards are very worn and marked and there is some damp staining that has affected the top few centimeters, these do not impact on the plates themselves but only affect the edges. there are age related marks and small defects and the hinges have been strengthened. the binding is good..
