The ALA is still active to this day as a scholarly forum that focuses on the study of Abraham Lincoln. Featured article: "Lincoln and Liquor" by Paul M. Angle. Angle was also one of the editors of the Bulletin. In his article, Angle discusses Lincoln's attitude and policies toward the sale of liquor.
