Entries paint a detailed picture of the times as he writes about many topics including the bad economy, poor living conditions, socialism, insane hospitals and he mentions the women in the church being involved in suffrage plus much, much more. Albert also does a good job as a diarist outlining his visits: Jamaica Plains, Lincoln School, S.J.C.D, Parker House, Harvard +++. Names mentioned include Judge Michael J.
