Spine staring at top of joints, chipped 1 inch at crown, 1/8 inch at heel. Endpapers foxed. Front pastedown bears a small contemporary printed bookplate. Two Cruikshank engravings preced the title page, each with light minimal foxing at edges. Occasional foxing to the text. Good overall. Recusant melodrama, based on the Gunpowder plot.
