Two black and white reprinted photographs are included that show Agreneva Slaviansky in an ornate outfit and Slaviansky and her choir, respectively. Pages are very clean and intact. Margarita Agreneva Slaviansky (1880/81-1964) was a Russian vocalist and choral conductor and daughter of Prince Dimitri (or Dmitry) Alexandrovitch Agreneff. Prince Dimitri received the honorary name of "Slaviansky" after he drafted vocalists and visited Slavic villages to learn about Slavic culture and music for the Royal Choir under the orders of the Czar of Russia. Prince Dimitri founded the Slaviansky Russian Chorus in 1858. Princess Margarita inherited her father's business and legacy after his passing in 1908.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
