The Nurse wrote with a white crayon witty notes & names to many of the photos. Original photos: Nurses in uniform informally or at Christ Hospital/ folks eating watermelon/ nurses at a construction site, sitting on an auto's running-board/ women go boating/ nurses in cap & gown, 1921 graduation/ landscapes- farm & fields/ old cars/ farm equipment/ early planes/ little kids in paper hats, Indian costume, pogo stick/ women in summer clothes/ boats, lake, dam/ men & women pose on hike/ women play musical instruments. The last pages show the nurses' family home in Albuquerque; photo of Isleta Pueblo Indian Reservation with young children. 'Nurse from Cincinnati' graduated in 1921; the nursing school at Christ Hospital had only opened in 1902. The hospital itself was organized in 1888, with just 11 beds. Measures: 11"x7".
