Very good indeed in the original pictorial boards as issued, hinges worn as usual but in general a superior copy of this fragile production. An interesting association copy, having the ownership signature of G.E.Pearse, and successively the ownership stamp of W.D.Howie. Geoffrey Eastcott Pearce (1885-1968) was the first professor of architecture at the University of the Witwatersrand, working in close company with Rex Martienssen who introduced the modern movement to South Africa.
