1969.Second printing. Golden Press 10875.Western Publishing.28 unnumbered pages.121/2x91/4.Good minus condition with glossy boards. Stuffed lion, giraffe and teddy on cover. They are wearing birthday hats and teddy has a knife to cut the cake. Rear boar has colored numbers 1-10.Some minor spine end and corner damage. Also some soilage on boards. Sewn spine is a little torn on front hinge. Rear hin ge is separated in a few places. Endpapers are sweet with teddy holding curled streamers and birthday hats. Ffep has inked inscription of 'Happy Birthday to Maria from Mrs. Simple (? ) 1971.' Design b y Olindo Giacomini and photography by Gerry Swart. Pages are clean and tight with themselves. Each page celebrates a number. Ingenious way stuffed animals are poised. Number 6 has teddy, lion, donkey with monkey on back watching the elephant get a rabbit out of a magician's black had.
