Text leaves are lightly and evenly toned. Shallow dampstain along top-edge of upper board and a faint spot of dampstaining at inner margin of endpapers. Slight edgewear to bottom edge of cloth and corners, and a short tear at crown. In a photo illustrated dust jacket showing the Vagabond Lover on the front panel; it is heavily edgeworn and chipped, moderately soiled, and has light dampstain at the top-edge of the front panel.
