The boards are rubbed, marked and edge worn, but remain surprisingly solid and bright. There is a small chip out of the cloth on the top edge of the board. The dust jacket is quite rubbed, marked and worn; it has several small chips out of the edges and near the edges of the spine, but none of these impact the legibility of the jacket. It is discoloured and worn, but remains whole and intact. Internally, there is some damage to the front end page and pastedown. The pastedown has a chip from it, and the end page is marked. The back end page and pastedown have a smaller amount of damage to them. This does not extend into the text, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete.
