Inscribed by Francois Pienaar (captain of the winning South African team of the iconic 1995 World Cup) on the frontispage: "Pete, You have done an awesome job. Thank you so much. Francois Pienaar. 17/11/2005". Pienaar was a member of the bid team for 2011. Main volume is the tender document. Secondary volume: "Appendix: Undertakings and Guarantees". Both are held in a matte covered slipcase. This is sturdy and smart with some very light storage wear. Both books have dustjackets that are healthy and fresh-faced. The early pages of the main tender document are creased at the top corner. Otherwise the pages in both are immaculate. They are bright, tidy and very clean. As if new throughout.
