Septimus Heap is a series of fantasy novels featuring a protagonist of the same name written by English author Angie Sage. In all,it features seven novels,entitled 'Magyk','Flyte','Physik','Queste','Syren', 'Darke',and 'Fyre'. he first,was published in 2005 and the final,in 2013.
Septimus is stranded on a remote island with his badly injured dragon,Spit Fyre, along with Jenna and Beetle.The island is captivatingly beautiful,one of seven set in a sparkling sea,but there is also something strange about it . . . . not least the Magykal girl named Syrah,the cat-shaped lighthouse,and an eerie presence that sings to Septimus. . .
Trouble is also brewing for Lucy and Wolf Boy,who have become entangled with some nefarious sailors,and for Milo Banda, Jenna's father,who is harbouring a mysterious treasure chest in his ship's hold.
