Original black-and-white publicity photograph showing a scene from the 1973 London production or the 1974 revival of the play, Gypsy. Three burlesque dancers are shown during the musical number, "You Gotta Have a Gimmick." No date, circa 1973-1974. 8" x 10." Printed description tipped in on back. Photo is very clean and intact except for a small wrinkle in the upper-left corner and a couple spots on the description from the glue (does not affect image). Please note: there are four rectangles with images of cars superimposed over two of the dancers. Sally Cooke's character is the only one unaffected by the rectangles. A Very Good copy. Gypsy is based on the memoirs of burlesque dancer Gypsy Rose Lee. The play is about Gypsy and her mother, Rose, who was her manager.
