OF THE UTMOST RARITY, this is the only copy we have seen in 40 years.in trade. Some of the early issues are annotated (obviously by a member of the regiment) in either pencil or ink identifying various regimental personalities including all names on two of the group portraits. The paper was started in May 1898 by Sergt EW.R.V. Blayney and Corpl. S. M. Pritchard. The journal came to an end in November 1899 when the regiment took the field for the South African War, and was not restarted afterwards.
