Cloth a little rubbed, and spine sunned; some spotting; recto of frontis. and final page of index somewhat foxed. Very good condition. (SABIB 4, p. 9) Mendelssohn, in volume 1 of his bibliography, notes the London 2-volume edition, also of 1892, and writes: "Sir George Grey was pre-eminently a great administrator, and his memory is justly treasured in the Colonies over which he ruled so successfully. An ardent collector, his liberality enriched the libraries of Cape Town and Auckland with donations of great value. Sir George Grey died in London on the 20th of September 1898."
