First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 288pp + xxiv publisher's catalogue bound in at the rear. Green cloth with dulled gold lettering to the spine and a blind rule to the upper board. Cloth lightly worn and bumped at the corner tips and with a little light wear to the head and base of the backstrip, and a little barely discernable staining to the rear board. A single tiny nick to the front hinge and a trace of spotting to the top edge, several preliminary leaves and to the occasional leaf margin. Readership creases to the corners of half a dozen leaves.
