Surprisingly, pages are mostly intact (except for scattered foxing/humidity stains; a few tears and chips), and text is very readable. The Secret Journals of the Congress of the Confederation, directed by resolutions to be published in five volumes. The Journals of Proceedings relating to Domestick [Domestic] Affairs is in the first volume, which is this book. It begins with information relative to meeting in Philadelphia, May 10, 1775 (a number of delegates from the colonies, agreeable to their appointment and the orders received from their colonies, met at Philadelphia).
