Original black-and-white publicity photograph showing a portrait of child star, Gigi Perreau, seated in a booster seat for her meal in the biopic, Madame Curie (1943). 10" x 8." Purple stamp with numbers on back. Also on back is a green stamp reading, "Approved, Advertising Advisory Council, Aug 21 1943, Hollywood." Typed description on back. Photo is very clean and intact overall but has a few wrinkles at the corners. A Near Fine copy. Gigi Perreau (b. 1941) is a French-American actress whose first role was for this movie, Madame Curie (1943). Perreau played Madame Curie's daughter, Eve Curie. The role was uncredited. Description on back: "Leroy's New Find.......Mervyn LeRoy, a discoverer of many stars introduces his newest find, 'Gigi,' a child actress who plays Eve Curie as a child in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's 'Madame Curie' with Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon. The baby and little Margaret O'Brien portray the daughters of the Curies in teh romance of discovery of radium, which LeRoy directed and Sidney Franklin produced. 5.
