Portrait of Eugène Rose de Beauharnais, Prince Français, Prince of Venice, Viceroy of the Kingdom of Italy, Hereditary Grand Duke of Frankfurt, 1st Duke of Leuchtenberg (3 September 1781 - 21 February 1824), the first and only son of Napoleon's first wife, Joséphine Tascher de la Pagerie and Alexandre, Vicomte de Beauharnais. Bio. text in Fr., bottom. Chipped and torn at edges and corners (<3 cm), considerably toned, with adhesive stains along r. edge, and staining in upper l. of image. Strong color; Good.
