Cornelius Peeples (1920-1954) was a radio and film actor. He was often cast as younger characters in radio shows such as Stepmother, Those Happy Gilmans, and Tom Mix and His Ralston Straight Shooters. Peeples is perhaps best-known for his role in the film, Julius Caesar (1950). "Maurice Seymour" is the imprint of photographers Maurice Zeldman (1900-1993) and Seymour Zeldman (1902-1995). They specialized in photographing celebrities. Maurice and Seymour immigrated from Russia to Chicago in 1920. In 1929, they combined their names when they established their own Maurice Seymour Studio. Maurice and Seymour often worked together, but they worked individually on occasion while retaining the "Maurice Seymour" imprint. Notably, the artistic style of their photos are very similar..
