A previous owner has made vigorous efforts to reinforce the edges of the dustjacket with broad strips of clear packing tape. The thick paper cover is much marked but escaped much wear thanks to the efforts described above. The cloth cover shows its age with wear from handling and shelving. The corners and the head and foot of the spine are worn. The paper trim edges are browned by age. This tarnishing, however, has not transferred to the pages which are clean, clear. The frontispage has been removed. A small puncture on the front cover towards the bottom has carried through to page 27. Other than some discolouration to the front page and end papers the condition of this much read book is good, firm and enjoyable throughout. fk. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover.
