Original publisher's dark gray paper wrappers with light gray paper title label tipped in on front cover. 6 1/4" x 9 1/2." Forty-six pages, complete. One black-and-white frontispiece, complete. Former owners' bookplate tipped in on front pastedown: "Marion and Edward Goodrich." Pages are virtually pristine and intact except for pencil annotations (mostly asterisks with a few written notes in the margins). Binding is tight. Covers are very clean and intact except for a few wrinkles and slight wear to corners and edges. A Fine copy. George Macy (1900-1956) was an American publisher who founded the Limited Editions Club in 1929. Sir Francis Meynell (1891-1975) was a British poet and printer at the Nonesuch Press, a printing press with whom Macy worked with. An address given by Meynell for the dedication of the George Macy Memorial Collection. The George Macy Memorial Collection contained all of the books published by the Limited Editions Club up to the time of this publication, c. 1956.
