This book is in Afrikaans throughout. The handsome dustjacket has been sadly eaten away by age and storage. It has much wear, tear, foxing and marking. All extremities have wear - particularly at the dj spine edges which have splits and wounds. The bodies of the dj front and back covers are foxed and marked by unfortunate storage and handling. The spine has wear to the head and foot. However, the large photograph of the first staff of the school, on the cover is curiously enhanced by this and is atmospheric and clear. The paper trim edges and the front and back pages have foxing and discolouration. The contents are generally good with robust, clear pages which may be read with confidence and ease. fk.
