There is no marked publication date or edition date. There is however a school (Vredenburg High School) presentation plate dated 1930. This much read and handled book is in solid condition. The blue cloth cover is legible; it has handling and storage marks. The corners have shelving and storage impressions and wear. The spine has been much handled and the print is faint. There is very general wear to the spine edges and head and foot. Inside there is persistent age rust and spotting. On the frontispage there is a school (Danielskuil High School) stamp. The spine seams are cracked at intervals throughout the book - however the binding is secure and stoic. The end page has a large open tear.
