This rare, fascinating volume of recipes is in classic Afrikaans and is in complete and fair condition. The cloth cover, although worn and marked, has clearly printed title and advice. The age of the book has contributed to some wear and stain spotting. The spine edges are worn especially at the head and foot and along the back seam. However, the binding is firm and stoic. There are pencil annotations throughout (especially for Sago Pudding and a remedy for 'galstene'!)Included are loose, handwritten and printed recipes from a previous owner. Also included is an advertisement for a Universal Bread Maker - with appropriate recipes. A previous owner has made attempts to repair closed tears to the back pages.
