Includes fold out illustration of Bain de L’Empereur ‘T Keysers Bad as a frontis. In French. Volume two only. Karl Ludwig was a German writer. He worked in the households of King Frederick William I of Prussia and Frederick the Great. He wrote La Saxe galante and Histoire secrete de la duchesse d'Hanovre, épouse de Georges I.
