published during the war this book was censored and many details were blacked out or left blank. this copy has been painstakingly corrected by the author in his hand on every page affected and he has initialed his changes. there is an inscription and signature from little dated 30/8/44 on the front end page. . under the front board there is another inscription thus. : "censored text amended by author 25/9/72 Eric H. Little". further he has inscribed the book to J.K. Campbell. there are no other inscriptions and the binding is good. the jacket is very poor indeed. it is worn and torn and marked and is now in cellophane. the book has age related marks and the boards are worn and marked.the spine has been repaired.a unique piece of world war 2 history.
