With an essay by Whitney Chadwick ('El Mundo Mágico: Leonora Carrington's Enchanted Garden'), an interview with the artist conducted by Paul De Angelis, a chronology compiled by Salomon Grimberg, ten colour plates, five further monochrome reproductions, and two photographs of the artist. A tiny crease to one corner tip of the rear wrapper, else a virtually fine copy of this uncommon exhibition catalogue. Carrington was a British-born surrealist painter and novelist; she lived most of her adult life in Mexico City and was one of the last surviving participants in the surrealist movement of the 1930s.
