This charming, small book is full bound in leather. Taking its age into account this book is in good condition. The binding is in good good condition with all pages firmly affixed. The front cover has been stained and marked. There is comparitively light wear to its edges and corners. The spine seams are cracked at the top bottom edges. The back cover has far fewer markings and is generally in good condition. Here too there is some wear to the edges and corners. The spine is shelf worn with some skin peeling and wear to its head and foot. The title printing is clear. Inside there a handwritten list of counties in aged hand. The front and end papers are discoloured about the edges. The condition of the paper is pliable, strong and audaciously good condition. A clean from text back paper has a closed tear at its bottom right edge. From page vi onwards the pages are pleasingly bright, clean, clear and virile. All in all a most pleasing volume. fk.
