Collection of four original issues of Fine Print: A Newsletter for the Arts of the Book. Printed by Andrew Hoyem. Comprises Volume 1, Number 1, January 1975; Vol. 1, No. 2, April 1975; Vol. 1, No. 3, July 1975; and Vol. 1, No. 4, October 1975. Each issues measures 8" x 11." All pages of each issue, complete. No. 1: Pages 1-8. No. 2: Pages 9-20. No. 3: Pages 21-32. No. 4: Pages 33-44. Pamphlets are pristine and intact except for slight bumping to corners and some of the edges. As New copies. A collection of the first four issues of the Fine Print Newsletter and all of the issues for Fine Print's first year of publication. Most of the features in each issue range in length from one paragraph to one page. Two ephemera laid in No. 4: a business reply envelope and a printed, one-page letter from the editors concluding the 1975 publication year and promoting Fine Print for its upcoming year. No. 1 focuses on California books and printers. The following is a list of some of the topics and features of each issue. No. 1: introduction from the editors, various announcements including one about Valenti Angelo, recent press books, works in progress, type design copyrights, hand bookbinders, Jackson Burke Collection, Strauss Collection at auction, obituaries, and Calendar of Events.
