Mrs Carter was the wife of Alfred Henry Carter (1849-1917),Professor of Medicine and noted clinician. Sir Alfred Henry Keogh, GCB, GCVO, CH (3 July 1857 - 30 July 1936) was a medical doctor in the British Army.
