The bottom fore-corner of both the half-title and the title- leaf has been cut away; the missing piece measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/4" (12 x 10 cm) resulting in loss of type, at the publisher's imprint and copyright information, on the title-leaf. The volume itself is slightly bowed. Otherwise, it is clean and fresh, nicely illustrated with quality reproductions, and a very good copy.
